David has a 25 year background in development and implementation of new programs and strategies directed toward improving security operations. In the past 10 years, David has been dedicated to the security industry and has built one of the largest privately owned full-service companies in the country.
He sits on various boards and committees dealing with labor, economics, budgets and planning. He is a frequent speaker for business and community functions and has had articles featured in top security magazines and international newspapers.
David keeps abreast of changes in Loss Prevention techniques and equipment as a member of The American Society for Industrial Security, Associated Detectives of Illinois, Associated Guard & Patrol Agencies, Inc., and as a consultant to the Illinois Department of Corrections. He also holds the Illinois Private Security Contractor, Private Alarm Contractor, and Locksmith licenses for Titan.
As a member of the AGPA, David holds a position on the Negotiating Committee for the Local 1 Union contract. He is also a member of the Joint Arbitration Board, which oversees all union grievances from the AGPA contract.
David spent his early career working with public accounting firms in the areas of service, distribution and municipalities. He is a graduate of MacMurray College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.
After working with Titan for ten years as outside counsel, Rick joined Titan in 2002 on a full-time basis with management as well as legal responsibilities. He focuses on improvement of Titan’s operational, customer-service, administrative and legal infrastructure. Since joining Titan, Rick has obtained licenses as both a Security Contractor and Private Detective from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Responsibility. Also, in recognition of his work on behalf of the industry in the drafting and passage of the new Private Detective, Private Alarm, Private Security, and Locksmith Act, Rick was awarded the James Brodie Legislative Award by the Illinois Security Chiefs Association.
As a principal of a downtown Chicago law firm, Rick has over 25 years of broad experience representing varied businesses in matters relating to virtually every aspect of their legal and financial structure and operations, including various types of litigation. He was also active in management of his law firm, Carroll, Hartigan, Farmer & Cerney, Ltd. Rick is a graduate of Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin and received his law degree from the University of Minnesota.
Len has more than 25 years’ experience in financial and business management. He and his team are responsible for all Titan Security Group finance, insurance, human resources and accounting matters.
He has spent most of his career providing financial expertise for closely held mid-sized corporations in the Chicagoland area and has an extensive financial background in the service industry.
Len is a CPA and graduate of De Paul University with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce degree.
Bill is responsible for the operational and human resources aspects of the corporation. Prior to joining Titan, Bill was the General Manager for the Chicago and St. Louis offices of a large multi-national security provider When Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf States in 2005, Bill was one of the first security professionals to assist in providing emergency operational management services in the New Orleans area.
Bill served in a military intelligence capacity in the US Army with the 5th Special Forces Group in Vietnam and the 66th MI Group in Europe. He holds a BS degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He is a member of the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals and is accredited by ASIS International as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP). He is licensed by the State of Illinois as a Private Security Contractor and Private Detective.
Joe joined Titan Security Group in August of 2007 as Vice-President for Operations. In that capacity Joe was responsible for overseeing day to day operations for our city and suburban offices. In his new role, Joe is responsible for client satisfaction and new client development.
Joe has over sixteen years of management experience in the security industry. Earlier in his career, Joe was General Manager of a large, multi-national, contract security firm. In his time with this firm Joe also held Field Support and Regional Quality Assurance Manager Posts.
For the past 16 years, Joe has been a member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) and has held the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation.
Joe has a Bachelors Degree in Law Enforcement Administration from the highly reputed Criminal Justice Program at Western Illinois University.
John has over 27 years in the Security & Law Enforcement field. Through John’s promotions in the ranks from the entry level to Operations Management, he has a true understanding of Security Operations. Over the past 12 years, he has held the positions of Security Officer, Site Supervisor, Area Manager and Field Operations Manager.
Earlier in his career, John was employed as an Accident Investigator for the Chicago Police Department.
Bob’s responsibilities at Titan include the recruitment, screening and training of applications and Officers. In addition, Bob insures that all the employees assigned to the Chicago branch are adhering to all personnel (PERC) requirements of the State Of Illinois.
Bob has over 20 years experience with the University of Chicago Police Department in every position from patrolman to assistant director. He is a certified firearms training instructor, has a BA in criminal justice from St. Xavier University and is very familiar with hospital security.Harry is responsible for the recruitment, screening and processing of applicants at Titan’s suburban office in Downs Grove. He also oversees the training, assigning and scheduling of our Officers. In addition, Harry insures that all the employees assigned to the Suburban Branch are adhering to all PERC requirements of the State Of Illinois.
Harry holds a Bachelors degree from Illinois Wesleyan University and a Masters from Northern Illinois University. Harry spent 33 years in the field of education. He served as Teacher, Dean of Students and Principal of Cass Junior High School in Darien, Illinois.
Mark has a 30 year background in the integrated electronic systems industry. His responsibilities have progressed from sales and sales management to field office and regional management and on to zone and departmental activities.
Mark has worked in a team-oriented approach with many U.S. and international firms in designing, installing and maintaining electronics systems so that they efficiently and effectively secure the total environment.
He is a graduate of The University of Illinois-Urbana with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
Tony has over 20 years in the computer and electronic services industry. His responsibilities at Titan Electronics include overseeing day to day operations, project management and new product development including custom design and installation.
Tony has worked with various computer services companies throughout the region. Responsibilities have ranged from Field Service Management to National Training Manager.
Prior to joining the Titan Electronics team in 2000, Tony worked for Compaq Computer Corporation as the Service Delivery Manager for Northern Illinois. Tony is a graduate of DeVry University and Triton College.
