Operations & Supervision

The Operations Department is the heart of Titan Security. It is here that all Security Officers and Supervisors receive their directions. The department must perform in several areas to insure quality services among them are Supervision, Scheduling, Payroll, Quality Assurance and Security Surveys.

Supervision

No security program could survive without effective supervision of its security officers. Titan places a very strong emphasis on supervision throughout the company. Within the system are Managers, Field Commanders, Site Supervisors and Senior Officers.

Each level has assigned responsibilities and authority. Titan does not make promotions without an increase of responsibility. We do not give out titles and say we have supervisors. All ranks within Titan have the responsibility of supervising those below them.

We train our supervisors to be supervisors. All employees holding the rank of Site Supervisor or above must attend a biweekly training class. We give instructions on how to supervise, lead the Security Officers and how to motivate subordinates. A Titan Supervisor comes to their assignment ready to handle the day-to-day problems.

Managers - All Titan Managers are chosen for their experience and knowledge of the security industry. Most managers have a minimum of 10 years in the contract security industry. Each has a proven track record and will be able to provide answers to any concerns.

Account Managers - Titan Security employs Account Managers for large multiple site accounts. The Account Manager will provide daily site visits to each facility, as well as, client contact meetings on a frequent basis. The Account Manager will be responsible for all scheduling and initial disciplinary actions.

Field Commanders - Titan Security has at a minimum of 1 Field Commander on duty 24 hours per day. This will ensure that there is always someone to respond to emergencies at your facility, as well as, handle the day-to-day concerns of the security officers on duty. The Field Commanders are our first line quality assurance, as they will inspect each account three to four times per week.

Site Supervisors - Each account over 128 hours per week will have a Site Supervisor. If a client has multiple locations, a supervisor may be dedicated for all of the sites. The Site Supervisor is the primary supervisor on site. All Security Officers assigned to the account will report directly to the Site Supervisor. Any last minute schedule changes such as, call offs, or post assignments will be the supervisor’s responsibility. Changes in site procedures, whether temporary or permanent, would be the Site Supervisors responsibility to inform and if needed train, the Security Officers. All newly assigned Officers would have to be approved by the Site Supervisor, prior to assignment.

Senior Officers - At accounts that warrant it, Titan will assign a Senior Officer. A Senior Officer may supervise just a shift or may have responsibility as assistant Site Supervisor. The people assigned as a Senior Officer would have had to demonstrate knowledge of the account and the ability to supervise subordinates.

Flex Force Personnel (FFP) / Backup Officers - Our goal is to hire and maintain a loyal & motivated team of officers dedicated to our client’s facilities. Site dedicated officer fill the core number of hours for the site. However, in the event an unforeseen event occurs that prohibits the core group of officers to cover an assignment, Titan utilizes our Flex Force Personnel (FFP) population to fill the need.

Our FFPs are our group of officers that are not assigned a fixed schedule. They fill in for planned vacations, special projects, emergency coverage requests and officer call-offs. At Titan we equip our officers with cell phones so they can be easily accessed to assist our operations team as necessary. All FFPs are paid the site wage plus a premium depending on the situation. Despite the increased wages of an FFP, our clients receive the same bill rate as they would if one of the site dedicated officers work the post.
